Philip Kingsley One More Day (dry shampoo)

I received a sampler size of this dry shampoo in a Latest in Beauty Box as a Christmas present. I haven't tried many dry shampoos, mainly because I don't like them. I hate how most of them leave a white residue in my hair, and it's just a hassle to try to get rid of.
However this dry shampoo doesn't leave much of a white residue in my hair, and it does what it's supposed to - clean and refresh my hair. It has a nice refreshing smell, which isn't to over powering. I find that it's also great for giving an extra lift in my roots, just that little bit of volume that I so desperately need.
The packaging of the product is okay, the text design is quite sleek. The only thing that I don't like is the plastic cap, it isn't very secure, and makes the product look cheap.
I prefer this dry shampoo to any others that I have tried. The 50ml size that I have retails for £5.95, which isn't bad, but I don't know how much it's going to last me. I quite like the 50ml as it is perfect to just throw in my bag, just in case I need touch ups during the day.
Overall I would recommend this product as it's the best dry shampoo I have tried, and I'll keep you updated on any other good dry shampoos I may find.

Revlon Lash Potion

This mascara is one of the very few mascaras that I have tried from Revlon, and I'm not overly impressed. I purchased this around Christmas time, and to be honest it was the colourful packaging and 'grow factor' that it has that drew me to the product.
The brush isn't too big or too small, which I like, and it's also a bristle brush which I prefer. The consistency of the actual mascara is okay, it's rather thick, but it does the job. I use this mascara every day to school, as I'm trying to save my new favourite Bourjois mascara for the weekends.
When applied it is quite clumpy, and I feel like it takes ages to dry. The thing that I dislike the most about this mascara is that little speckles of dried mascara get on my face during the day, I feel like I'm constantly checking in the mirror to see if my face is covered in little black spots, awkward.
This is a waterproof mascara, and it really is, because it's a pain to take off. This mascara claims to help your eyelashes grow longer naturally, as it's from the Grow Luscious range. I haven't noticed a difference in the length of my eyelashes, and I've been using the mascara for about 3 weeks, maybe it just takes more time. But honestly I cant wait to finish this tube of mascara, because it just doesn't work for me. I will continue to use it, until it runs out, but I won't repurchase.
This mascara is £9.99, and in my opinion it is very over priced.
I have the colour 221 Blackest Black.

Maybelline Color tatoos

The Maybelline Color Tattoos have to be the best cream eye shadows in the drugstore. Since they came out earlier this year, they have been very popular. They are a great creamy texture, with a good colour pay off. They are easy to apply, either with your fingers or a brush, they are amazing. They also don't crease, or smudge. They also have a gorgeous shimmer to them.

Maybelline do offer a good colour selection, but some of the colours are a little to bright in my opinion. I think that they would be even more successful if they came in more neutral colours.

They come in a little glass pot, with a plastic lid, I like the glass pot because you can see clearly the colour that you're buying. It feels like you're dipping your finger into something luxurious. The product size is deceiving, as you may think that you're not getting a lot, but that is not true, one pot will last ages!.

This colour is number 35 On and on bronze, and I can honestly say it is the perfect shimmery brown/bronze.
You can apply lightly for a light shimmer on the eyes, or thicker for a more opaque colour on the eyes.

Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation

The Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation has to be one of the best drugstore foundations of 2013. I have been faithful to this foundation since it came out in early spring 2013. I think that it is so unique, giving you that perfect natural glow that we all crave.

I have combination skin, and it works a treat. I would not recommend it to people with oily skin, as it would give to much of a shine. I believe that it would be fine for people with dry skin, as it does not cling to my dry patches, like other foundations do. The glitter particles may be a problem for some, but I think it gives a really pretty look to the skin.
This foundation includes SPF15, as does nearly all foundations. The anti-fatigue effect makes the skin brighter, and well as the name suggests 'wakes your skin up'.
The packaging of the product is alright. The glass bottle gives it a nice feel, but the orange lid gives it a rather tacky and cheap look, although the product inside is amazing. The product is worth the price of £6.99.
I am in the shade 103 True Ivory.

Overall I would definitely recommend this product, and I shall carry on using it until I find something better.
